This is the stuff that I think is REALLY COOL, and that all my music students and clients should know about!

A VERY NICE Online Metronome! :

The best place I have found for getting karaoke/back-up music tracks online:

http://www.musicalcreations.com ...I use this company most of all, and they are inexpensive, high quality, and easy to download.

"Amazing Slow Downer" music player software. I teach with this, and cannot live without it! :

Where I do all my music shopping :

American Musical Supply ( http://www.americanmusical.com ) is still 24/7 and easy to work with, including monthly payments with no credit check or interest, and you get a REAL HUMAN BEING immediately on the phone, rather than an annoying menu system. I do almost ALL of my business with them now.

Guitar Center ( http://www.guitarcenter.com ) in Tallahassee, FL is where I go when I need something fast locally. Believe it or not, Walmart in Bainbridge, GA actually sells good picks and strings now too!

Musician's Friend ( http://www.musiciansfriend.com ) still gets some of my money from time to time, but I am having increasingly less satisfaction with them lately, and they appear that they may be in economic trouble. They are no longer 24/7, and there's still a pretty annoying phone menu system. Still, I have to use them for some things, but American Musical Supply is currently my first choice.
