Student Voice Exercises: These voice exercises are INTENTIONALLY LONG and they INTENTIONALLY go above and below the range of most of my voice students' voices, so they can accomodate anyone of any range, male or female. They also extend longer than we do them during regular voice lessons. When you feel the notes are getting too high or too low for your voice, just stop, listen and wait until the notes come back around, and they feel like they are back within your range. Do these as a normal "Humming Warm Up", like we do during lessons, do them on "La", or any way YOU WANT TO. This is your chance to experiment and have fun. Also, very helpful, is to SING THE NUMBERS. That will help train your pitch knowledge. On "1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1 With Holding Thru 4 Chord Passes", just run this until you are tired of it. It is very long - almost a half hour by itself. Also, the HOLD is much longer than normal - 4 passes through the sustaining chords, and this is again, to accomodate any singer of any ability, all the way up to those who can hold notes for an extremely long time. When you run out of air, just patiently wait for the next scale. This will give you some rest time if, for example, you can only last through one or two chord passes. As you listen to these, they will be self explanatory: 1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1 Heavy Metal Vocal Series: Heavy Metal Vocal Series - Tape 1 of 8 - Breathing Control - Side A.mp3 Heavy Metal Vocal Series - Tape 2 of 8 - Pronunciation - Side A.mp3 Heavy Metal Vocal Series Manuals : HeavyMetalVocalLesson#1-BreathingControl-Cover.jpg
